Tarot Journaling- A work in progress…

If you’ve been following along with the progress on my tarot journal, then THANK YOU ๐Ÿ™‚

Honestly this is the one topic that I’m at a loss for when it comes to blogging about. I don’t feel that I am a good writer anyways so it humbles me to even see that I have 100 people that follow along with this blog ๐Ÿ™‚ lol

Hopefully I am doing you all some justice by providing the written word that is mostly not broken English and makes sense? If your here just to look at the pretty pictures, ya know, I don’t blame you for that either! lol

And if your following and your not reading, not looking at the pictures, not liking, not commenting, not engaging….THEN WHY ARE YOU FOLLOWING ME !?! Hhhhmmmm…. Don’t think I don’t see you over there! lol

Ok…enough ranting… (enough coffee for me today too) I want your feedback….

Yes…I legitimately want your feedback…I want to hear your opinions on this…

My tarot journal has been a labor of love. It is something that is educational, entertaining and therapeutic for me to do. Those of you that have been following along know my ‘style’ is more of a creative art journal more than anything. It’s my process. But what I want to know from YOU, are your thoughts, comments, suggestions, etc. in moving forward with this project what are some of your creative ways of journaling/art/craft/tarot what-have-you that I potentially can digest these ideas and incorporate into my work.

This means I want you to scroll down ( well not now, don’t skip the rest of this ) and I want you to comment below and let me know what are some ideas you have bouncing around in that brilliant knoggin’ of yours! I also want suggestions on what you would like to know MORE about my process, as this will give me great ideas to WRITE about. Instead of just dropping the video link on a blog and being like ‘Hey! Here, watch!” ๐Ÿ™‚

MY FIRST TAROT JOURNAL blog post went into more detail about my process and had some pretty good stuff in there, in my opinion.

MY SECOND TAROT JOURNAL blog post I was just kinda at a loss. I understand it may have come across as lazy, and I apologize for that! And clearly I’m a little lost on this one as well….

WHICH IS WHY ITS IMPORTANT FOR YOU TO SHARE IDEAS ๐Ÿ™‚ Because I want to provide fun, educational, entertaining, thought provoking, inspirati

  1. Liking the unfiltered and humorous intimacy of your posts ๐Ÿ™‚ only problem I have personally (you did ask lol), is I didn’t watch your video. I don’t learn that way, additionally, when I personally Tarot journal, the writing process is the manifestation of internal ideas, and helps those ideas develop further, especially when those ideas inspire conversations etc. I am sure the video was fabulous of course ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. Awww I forgive you! You donโ€™t have to watch the video to learn but perhaps just to entertain. Do you use any style of art or craft to your journaling process? Or do you do straight up journal style writing ?

      1. Yeah just straight-up, barely legible writing. I journal basic notes and card attributes of morning Tarot and enjoy musing over those cards and their interplay leisurely over the course of my day. My Tarot Diary always at-the-ready, I journal insights as inspired or remembered. I do use different pen colours for the multi-layerโ€™s interpretation of each card and am colour consistent within Spreads as cards share common layers and similar meanings, thus forming my themes of colour for that Reading.

In short my answer is no, lol no artistry involved, just coloured themes for Readings that are only showcasing in my Tarot Journal. Transferring my Tarot musings online (my website) must be drastically streamlined presently. Iโ€™ve trialed a few different methods, each as laborious as the next, so is/has fast becoming very chore-like and not looked forward to (recently simply not done). Do you have a particular process that works well for you when uploading and inputting information onto your website? Some super-fast and efficient magicked software perhaps?

I admire you, and anyone who is making or has made a journal, for the time and commitment you must have invested in it. It has always been something I wanted to do, but I think I will just start with blog posts for now as my mind is nowhere near as organized as it needs to be for a project like this haha.
