Crystal Griddin’

One question I hear often is how to go about constructing a crystal grid and why…

Crystal grids are physical representations using the vibrational energy of crystals to outwardly manifest one’s intentions or desires. Utilizing a tower, or generator in the center of the grid to draw the Earth’s energy into the grid and dispelling the energy throughout the rest of the crystals and into the world.

Quartz is the perfect crystal conductor acting as “THE” crystal to use and assisting in amplifying other crystals around it. Typically a quartz crystal is used as the generator however in this particular case I chose to use a rose quartz tower.

PAUSE… This is a public service announcement from Pappa Squirrel…

There is a lot of information out there about how-to-do-this-or-that…this does NOT mean that it is the ONLY way!!! I always preach about using your intuition! Cuz lets face it, it’s gotten you this far in life right? In the case of a crystal grid its about the intent you put into the craft, not whether it matches someone else’s or not. So use what you have, put what feels right and go with it!

Ok, now back to our regularly scheduled program…

Once the generator is placed in the middle I surrounded the rose quartz using a combination of clear quartz points and druzy amethysts. I intentionally placed the points facing outwards to direct the energy out into the world.

This particular grid was inspired to help heal the world. For those of you that watch the news, or heck even hear world events by word of mouth, after the chaos that ensued in my local city followed by the destruction in Texas I wanted to make a grid for healing.

I specifically chose the rose quartz generator so that the foundation of the energy was coming from a place of love. Rose quartz is also great more importantly for self-love and healing. Amethyst is a meditative and calming stone which works in the emotional, spiritual, and physical planes to promote calm, balance, and peace. All of which I feel like the world could use a lot of right now!

I also choose to adorn my crystal grids with bits of nature! I’m a foraging Squirrel remember? πŸ™‚ That’s what I do best! It’s very important to me to incorporate the healing energies Mother Nature gives us into my grids. I feel this only strengthens the energies and brings more balance and peace to it.

To compliment the healing energies of the amethysts I choose a purple flowering bush from my yard. Sometimes I use feathers, sea shells, whatever I may have available or whatever is conducive to the energies I want.

If I’m making a grid for myself I typically write down the goals of my intentions on a little piece of paper and place it under the generator. For this purpose, I didn’t feel I needed to do so. I will leave this grid up for as long as I feel it is necessary and every day spent time meditating by it and continuing to charge it and myself with my intentions.

I hope that even by this small act, that I can somehow help and impact the world by putting positive light and energy out into it. Perhaps even put a smile on your face as your reading this? Or empower you to positively impact yourself or your community in some way. On a final note I will leave you will a prayer that I found appropriate for this intention and hope that it may serve you well.

“May the light that shines from deep inside,
Flow ever out, and never hide.
May the shining light within my soul,
Heal me now, and make me whole.
May the light that shines so very bright,
Help heal my pain, on this night.
May the shining light within my core,
Bring peace and love, forever more.”

Namaste
